Perfint
Overview
Perfint develops robotic solutions used in surgical environments. This project focused on redesigning the pre-surgical setup experience for surgeons and technicians using a robotic arm system.
The existing interface was outdated and complex, involving 8–10 unclear and non-intuitive steps. It was not optimized for a 21-inch multi-touch screen, resulting in inefficiencies, higher cognitive load, and frustration for surgeons during time-sensitive procedures.
I collaborated closely with design teams and medical stakeholders to simplify workflows using surgeon-centric thinking. The focus was on clarity, usability, and real-world surgical conditions—optimizing interactions for large multi-touch screens and reducing unnecessary steps.
Achieved a 30% reduction in setup time, significantly improving workflow efficiency.
